Val Moilliet graduated from UBC in 1974 with a combined degree in Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. She has worked for over 30 years in private practice, buying her own Clinic in Tsawwassen in 1991. She has actively pursued many post-graduate courses and is certified in Acupuncture and IMS. She has promoted the physiotherapy profession within her community and has provided a clinical setting for physiotherapy students to gain their practical hours. In her time off she is very active with her family cycling, sailing, kayaking, scuba diving and traveling on her motorcycle.


Florence MacDonald-Bain graduated from Dalhousie University in 1984. Her interest in Acupuncture began in the late 1980s with courses through the Acupuncture Institute of Canada and she received her certification in 1998. She completed her Part A exams for Manual Therapy in 1996 and Part B exams for Advanced Manual Therapy (Spinal Manipulation) in 1997. In January of 2005 Florence completed the certification with ISTOP for Intramuscular Stimulation. Florence is a member of the Orthopaedic and Sports Physiotherapist Vancouver Divisions of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
In her practice, she has interests which range from treating sports injuries in young and old to simply getting people moving and pain-free to enjoy a better quality of life.
In her free time Florence is an avid cyclist, swimmer and kayaker. She loves to bake, read and share good laughs with good friends.


Jane Knauer graduated with a bachelor of science in physiotherapy from Queen's University in 1994 and has been practicing in private practice ever since. In 1999, she successfully completed the requirements for her Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Therapy. Since then she has continued to upgrade her clinical skills in manual therapy and sports rehabilitation, and has become qualified to practice medical acupuncture and IMS (Intramuscular Stimulation). Jane has also developed a special interest in pre and post-partum women's health since the birth of her 2 children. She helps educate new moms with talks throughout the community. Apart from running around after her 2 little ones, Jane loves to swim, ski, rollerblade, golf and play hockey.

Ann Harada graduated from Physiotherapy, at UBC in 2002 and completed a degree in BHK in Exercise Science at UBC prior to that. She became a resident in the Canadian Academy of Manual Therapists in 2005 and is currently pursuing her Acupuncture and IMS certification. She has been a physio for the Canadian Men's Field hockey Team since 2003 and was an athlete herself with the Canadian's Women's Field Hockey Team, competing in the 1998 Commonwealth and the 1999 Pan Am Games. When not at work, Ann enjoys traveling, running, golfing, tennis, hockey and just about any other sport.


Sheana Lehigh graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2003 with her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. Since then, she has been working full-time in private practice, and part-time in the hospital setting. Sheana has also studied physiotherapy in New Zealand, and has worked as a physiotherapist in the United Kingdom.
Sheana has a special clinical interest in orthopaedic, manual and sports physiotherapy. In the last 3 years, she obtained her IMS certification and her Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy.
Sheana has been a competitive ballet and modern dancer since she was five years old and now she also enjoys yoga, hiking, skiing, biking, and swimming. Sheana is also a clinical placement instructor for the physiotherapist Vancouver students of UBC.

Dara Storey completed her Bachelors of Science (Biology) and Masters of Physical Therapy degrees at the University of British Columbia. She also completed a year of her undergraduate degree at the University of Queensland, in Australia.
Dara co-authored a research article entitled: "Exercise for Women with Breast Cancer-Related Lymphedema". This was published in the October 2006 issue of Physical Therapy, the official journal of the American Physical Therapy Association. She is also the co-author of another research article, "The Effects of Exercise on Quality of Life in Women Living with Breast Cancer: A Systematic Review", which was published in The Breast Journal, December, 2008.
Dara works full-time in private practice. She has now obtained her Certificate of Intermediate Manual and Manipulative Therapy after completing her Level 3 exam. Dara is also certified to practice acupuncture and is a member of The Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute. She also belongs to the Sport and Orthopaedic divisions of the Canadian Physical Therapy Association.
Dara is very active has previously competed at the Provincial level in both soccer and fieldhockey. She continues to play both at a competitive level. She also enjoys snowboarding, running, road biking, going to the gym, reading and hanging out with friends & family.

Katrina Sovio has been practicing in both the private and public health care settings since in 2003. She also holds a degree from UBC in Human Kinetics with a focus on Exercise Science and has completed her certification in Intramuscular Stimulation.
She brings her many years as a marathon runner and Ironman triathlete to her practice. In addition to training as a physiotherapist, Katrina is also a registered yoga teacher and currently teaches classes in the Vancouver area. She believes strongly in the connection between body and mind and will often incorporate hands-on treatment (manual therapy) and yoga-related exercise into her treatment regimes. She believes therapists can play an important role in facilitating clients to create sustainable lifestyles and is passionate about supporting her clients in practicing the art of balanced living. On her days off, you can find her practicing yoga, riding her road bike, running, hiking, skate skiing, and hanging out with her golden retriever.
