Tsawwassen Sports & Orthopaedic Physiotherapist Clinic offers a number of traditional and advanced Physiotherapy procedures and Physio Services from our clinic in Delta BC. Our dedicated staff of Physio’s can help you rebound and get back to life.

Manual Therapy involves hands-on treatment of spinal and extremity joints to assess and treat injury and dysfunction. This may involve assisted stretches, deep tissue massage, acupressure, mobilizations and manipulation.
Client-specific Exercise Prescription is an important phase in recovering normal function, relieving symptoms and preventing future injury.
Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) is a very effective technique, developed by Dr. Chan Gunn, for the treatment of chronic pain. Pain that occurs and persists indefinitely in the absence of ongoing trauma is called “neuropathic” pain.

Sport Rehab Our sports therapy provides pre-sport athletic screening to help our local athletes in injury prevention. Specific stretch and strengthening programs are established based on the individualized assessment and their chosen sport.
WCB/ICBC Rehab We provide individualized exercise programs, including lifting, carrying, reaching, etc. with the intent to be as job-specific as possible.
Mechanical Traction involves repetitive or sustained longitudinal distraction of spinal joints of the neck or low back.
Core Programs are provided to clients with exercises ranging from the basic transverse abdominis engaging heel slides to the advanced proprioceptive Bosu and ball work with tubing and medicine balls aimed at incorporating the entire body.
Womens-Health Jane, previously of Body Back Fitness, is now providing individual pre and post natal care. She can explain how pregnancy changes the ability of the low back and pelvis to perform everyday tasks (stability of your core).

KINESIO & Athletic Taping
Patient Education / Ergonomics Physiotherapy is not just about the treatment of pain. It is also about prevention. With most treatments you can expect tips on posture, stretches, strengthening, heat vs. ice, resting positions etc.
